Meet the Coaches Who Inspire Our Young Martial Artists

At AACE Martial Arts Academy, we believe that the right coaches make all the difference—especially when it comes to shaping the next generation. From our preschool program all the way through to our teens’ classes, our dedicated coaching team is committed to helping kids grow not just in skill, but in confidence, focus, and character.

At the forefront is Head Coach Jack Smith, whose technical expertise and leadership set the foundation for everything we do. Coach Jack inspires kids ages 3–14 to train with discipline, resilience, and heart. Alongside him, Coach Kendra Young brings a calm and supportive teaching style that helps even the youngest students feel confident and excited about learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Balancing the team, Coach Liz McMurray adds energy and enthusiasm to every class, keeping kids motivated and engaged as they push toward new goals.

Together, these three coaches create more than a training program—they create a community where students develop life skills that carry far beyond the mats.
